The Law of Attraction is perfect, humans are not. Sorry to be so blunt, but it needs to be said.  There is a bunch of nonsense floating around about this law. My goal is to help cut through the clutter and get you started on the right path.  Here are 7 myths  about the law of attraction and errors made when using the law of attraction for money and wealth.

Myth #1.  The Law of Attraction is not a law.  It’s all a bunch of hoopla, dreamed up by the woo woos and wack jobs.   This myth is a biggie.  No one  invented the law of attraction. It is a universal law, like the law of gravity.  The law is proven by quantum physics.  I will never claim to be an expert here (please!), but I have read a lot about it. It helped me to understand and get over my own misperceptions when I first started studying the law of attraction (loa).

The gist to me is what the scientists found: when quantum physicists observed an electron and decided in their minds where they wanted it to go, they found that wherever they expected it to appear is precisely where it would appear. This is using the mind and the law of attraction on a subatomic scale.  They created in their minds the reality of what would happen.

A simple way of putting it is like attracts like. What you believe is what you experience.  The law of attraction works whether you believe it or not.  It is working in your life even as we speak.   If your job stinks, your life is a mess, nothing ever seems to go your way, your car is a clunker, and the bills just keep piling up– do you really think that is all a bunch of random coincidences?

Could it be that you (maybe) have just a touch of "stinking thinking" (negative thinking)going on?   If so, please don’t despair.  I have been there.  Please read on.

Myth #2.  But you can’t use the law of attraction for wealth.  How could you do that?  There are starving people in Africa. You can only use the law of attraction for good things, like peace and love. Money is the root of all evil.  Bunko.  You can attract wealth and money with the law of attraction just as easily as you can attract whatever it is that you deem is good.

Or bad for that matter.  The law doesn’t care or judge what you attract.  It just works.  You’re the one making the judgment call.

Myth #3.  Learning the law of attraction will make your rich.  What???  But that’s what the book said.  Wrong.  Learning the law of attraction will not make you anything. It is the proper application and use of the law which will make you abundant, rich, wealthy, and prosperous.

Myth #4.  That your mind will attract money and wealth and you can just sit back and watch it all appear like magic.  You even have a vision board!  Sorry Charlie.  If that were the case, everyone could just go to Vegas and legally rob the slot machines with their minds, right?

There is some actual work involved involved with using the law of attraction to create wealth.  You do have to reprogram your thinking.  Once you understand what to do and how, wealth creation indeed becomes your reality.

Myth #5.  Positive thinking will make you a money magnet.  I am a millionaire, I am a millionaire, I am a millionaire.  Uh, hey why aren’t I a millionaire?  The myth of positive thinking is that it is all you need to attract wealth.  In fact, it is a wonderful tool to be used with the law of attraction.  It is only one tool, however.  You need the whole toolbox.

Myth #6.  Visualizing money is the secret ingredient in how to become wealthy.  See myth #5. Visualization is yet another great tool.  But again, not the only one.  Ok, picture this– you are going to build a luxurious mansion- the very house of your dreams.

The Law of Attraction is the blueprint.  Positive thinking is the hammer and nails.  Visualization is the building crew.  Can you see that you still need more tools, not to mention the building materials?

Myth #7. Determining ahead of time, HOW and WHEN you will attract wealth.  You want your business to double in the next 6 months. That’s fair, right? (Actually you want it to quadruple times 100, but you’ll settle for doubling it.  After all, you don’t want to ask for too much.)

The fact is, when you are using the law of attraction for money and wealth, you don’t dictate the terms.  This is not a mortgage, an exam, or a guessing game.  It is the practical application of a universal law.

So there you have it.  7 common myths debunked…If you are serious about real results in using  the law of attraction for wealth,  then you have to first understand these myths and then let them go.  Otherwise,  you won’t be able to manifest, attract, or create wealth.
